Jay Boucher

Jay Boucher

Jay Boucher is surrounded by trucks. Trailers, dump trucks, delivery vans, garbage trucks; day and night they rumble and rattle past his ground floor studio. Seeing life and personality in these utilitarian machines, Jay decided to render them in the fluid medium of watercolor.

In addition to laboring over bruised work vehicles, Jay also creates online games and teaches game design to kids in the northern NJ area.

Jay spent much of the 2000′s as Sr. Designer for MTV.com, designing sites and games for shows like Pimp My Ride and The Real World. He currently works with the foundation of renowned children's book author/illustrator Ezra Jack Keats and recently illustrated a children's book with author Lana Santorelli. Jay holds a BFA in Illustration from VCU and an MFA in Photography & Related Media from School of Visual Arts, NYC.
