John Delaney began drawing cityscapes during a Greyhound bus trip between Newark and New Orleans in April 1992, at the suggestion of New Orleans and Newark poet Yictove. John executed cityscapes during annual conventions of the Association of Alternative Newsweeklies (AAN) in Nashville, Salt Lake City, Montreal, Memphis, Phoenix, New Orleans, Madison and Pittsburgh from 1995 to 2003, while marketing JOHN DELANEY's ASTROSCOPE, an astrology column featuring interpretations of recently discovered, named and unnamed planets, which peaked in 2001 at about 300,000 readers in American and Canadian newspapers. John has executed cityscape drawings throughout Canada and the U.S.A, not only from Vancouver to Halifax, from Seattle to Boston and from San Diego to Miami but also in more local cities such as New York, Boston, New Haven, Newark, Jersey City, Baltimore and Philadelphia. John will continue executing cityscapes during upcoming travel to Mexico City in early December 2013.
